A New Floor to Explore
The biggest news this month is that we’ve grown. Harbour Books is finally a two-story bookshop once again. Though we have some finishing touches to add, the first floor is now very much open for business and browsing.
Re-opening the upper level of our beautiful historic building means we can offer you a much wider selection of titles across nature writing, art, poetry, and classic fiction, as well as travel, lifestyle, home and garden. This extra space means we now also have a much expanded history section and for the first time a dedicated music section with a fantastic mix of music biography, memoir, and history across rock, pop, classical, avant-garde and other genres.
We’ve put in some comfy seating and the light upstairs is just gorgeous. So we hope you’ll take a book off the shelf, pick up a literary journal and enjoy this space to browse, read and relax.
